Andrea Jung

OTR/L President and CEO

Andrea has been President of our Board of Directors and CEO of the agency for 5+ years.  She has 26 years’ experience in healthcare including transitional care, home care, hospice, care management, and private duty.  Andrea has worked both locally and nationally in sales leadership, business development, project management, and most recently administration.  In her current role with GAEHC, Andrea is able to utilize her passion for home and community based services as well as end of life care. In her spare time she volunteers for hospice with her dog Murphy, reads tons of books, and enjoys Crossfit with her 22 year old son and husband of 27 years.

Heather VanCleave

RN Hospice Director

New to our leadership team with 25+ years of experience in healthcare.  Heather has “a passion to come alongside people on their life journey; to bring them hope, encouragement and support to keep taking the next step forward.” She is certified as a Geriatric Care Manager and currently leads our Hospice team.  When Heather is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband John, hiking, reading and watching movies. 

Joan Berger

RN, Home Care Director

Joan comes to our leadership team with 30+ years of nursing experience with an emphasis on geriatrics, home health and team management.  Joan has her bachelor’s degree from Metro State University in Healthcare Leadership and is currently working towards her Masters in Health Leadership from Western Governor’s University.  She is passionate about supporting a team that is focused on providing exceptional home care services that will enable people to remain safe in their homes despite fluctuations in health.  Joan has a large extended family she enjoys spending time with including attending church services with her mother, Shirley and watching movies with her father, Bill.

Julie Embry

Business Administration Director

Julie has been with Guardian Angels Elim Home Care for over 5 years.  Julie has over 13 years’ experience in senior care administration with a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in Business Management.  Julie has a wide berth of knowledge including business administration, information technology, human resources and general ledger accounting. Julie believes she is using her “God given talents in her work to benefit the needs of His kingdom.” When she is not at work she enjoys time with her husband Dave, daughter Payton and all her activities, playing with her two dogs, working out at CrossFit and eating deserts with family and friends.
